Jonah Rouse is in pursuit of assistance with building the Jonah Rouse Foundation. Jonah came up with the idea after giving a set of golf clubs that he outgrew to a junior golfer that would have to share clubs with other golfers during their golf lessons. Jonah asked his mom, "How will kids ever be able to be competitive and make a college team if they don't have clubs to practice?" he asked. "Golfers are getting new clubs all the time, so even if they donated their old clubs, it's better than having nothing."

The Foundation will feature preeminent junior golf programs in areas of the country where golf is not offered. The Foundation will offer programs to youth in traditionally marginalized communities where they are able to borrow golf clubs for instruction and golf tournaments as well as apply for scholarships and contests where they earn gift certificates for green fees, gift cards for golfing supplies, golf equipment (i.e. golf clubs, bags and carts).

The Academy will also offer low or no-cost instruction for youth in traditionally marginalized communities through our year-round programming for all level players. The Foundation intends to partner with nationwide organizations that promote golf, giving underserved youth golf-course access, and exposure to careers in the golf industry while building honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship while obtaining golf knowledge and skills for each youth in individual and group settings.

In compliance with NCAA regulations, Jonah Rouse does not and will not personally benefit from the Foundation and does not and will not have access to golf clubs and equipment donated. Additionally, Jonah Rouse does not endorse any of the products donated to the Foundation. In the Foundation borrowing program, junior golfers will follow a stringent process of checking out and returning golf clubs at participating Pro Shops for practice, lessons and tournaments only.
